Missionary Brownies

You know those commercials that add up all the costs, and then the last one is "priceless?"  Well, here's our version.

I have a brownie recipe that is awesome.  It's super easy, super fast, and super yummy.  So what happens when you do it with two younger boys?  Yep, you get one of those type experiences.
Doing it for a missionary with two younger brothers makes twice as much mess and three (or four!) times as long, plus some interesting flavors added in.

Andrew melted the butter while Michael helped get the rest of the fixin's out.  Then Michael got to beat each egg (all 6!) individually into the sugar/butter mixture.  Talk about a tired arm!

Andrew mixed in the flour and cocoa.  And mixed and mixed...

Then we added in the colored marshmallows and sprinkled on colored sprinkle candies and crushed candy cane.

Then into the oven.

And what is this turning out to be?   A chance for two younger brothers to learn service, to learn to serve their older brother while he serves his mission.  A chance for a truly "sweet" feeling that comes from helping someone else.  Yeah, priceless.
